It all begins with a friendly padel americano tournament organized on a spreadsheet. While it worked, it was not the best way to keep doing it. We had to bring a laptop to the padel facility to keep track of the tournament and make sure the laptop had enough battery to stay alive throughout the tournament. So many things could go wrong...

The beginning

During a conversation after a padel match a friend suggested that someone should create a tool for padel tournaments and the process started immediately.

Considering I was the only one actually working in development, the challenge landed on me. And so it began, during the pandemic at the end of 2021, a solo project that would turn out to become Padel Fast started.

Values

While starting the project, I had to establish some values to make sure that I dont get out of bound of the core values in the long run when working on the app. The values should revolve around the users and should be something they would be interested in and appreciate.

After some back and forth I decided on the following values.

Release

Padel Fast was released to the public at the end of february 2022, and is now one of the most popular padel tournament apps on the market. Im happy to say that Padel Fast has saved thousands of people a lot of time and energy from having to use spreadsheets and laptops when organizing tournaments... especially big ones.
